Learning and engagement is at the heart of what we do at Devonshire Collective (DC). We believe in regular activity that is free at the point of use, artist-led, and inclusive. Programmes are shaped by research into our community and gaps in cultural provision, with a focus on early years, children, teachers and the most marginalised communities in the ward, in particular, refugees and asylum seekers.
DC is one of only two Arts Award Centres in Eastbourne. Our courses are aimed at the Home Educator community, and provide tie-ins to the national curriculum.
We run a range of free family and community workshops at our gallery VOLT and DC Learn Studio as well as regular activities for people of all ages and all walks of life. Visit our What’s On page to take a look.
We also run Arty Parties, a 2 hour party aimed at 6-12s. We provide an art activity for up to 10 children at our DC Learn studio. Bookings for Saturday or Sunday, 10am-12noon or 2pm-4pm. Contact Gina Leonard to enquire or make a booking.
