Exhibition entry is FREE to all.

VOLT hosts a changing programme of exhibitions and events. During exhibitions we are open Wednesday to Saturday, 12noon–5pm. See what’s on at VOLT.

VOLT is wheelchair accessible across both floors. The lift is for visitors with mobility, visual, sensory or other impairments, and is for one disabled person at a time. Our staff are happy to help opening and closing the lift doors – please ask.

There is a gender-neutral accessible bathroom on the lower floor.

DC Learn Studio
Our learning space DC Learn Studio is open for timetabled workshops and events listed on our What’s On page. Outside of the programme timetable, the studio is closed to the public.

DC Learn Studio is wheelchair accessible. The venue has a step on entry, and we have a folding wheelchair ramp.

How to get here

By bus

Buses LOOP, 1, 1A, 1X, 3, 12, 12A, 12X, 51, 54 and 99 stop near our gallery VOLT and our learning space DC Learn Studio.

By train

There are regular trains to Eastbourne station from London Victoria, London Bridge, Brighton, Bexhill, Hastings and Ashford.

By bike

Bike racks are available on Terminus Road, a two-minute walk from VOLT and a five-minute walk from DC Learn Studio.

By car

The nearest NCP car park is located at Trinity Place, BN21 3BZ, just a five-minute walk to VOLT and a ten-minute walk to DC Learn Studio.

School and Community group visits

We welcome school and community group visits of up to 20 people. Our team can offer an introduction to the current exhibition and a facilitated session with one of our artist educators. We ask for four weeks notice where possible.
