Devonshire Collective Associate Artists Kristen Rhodes-Hasler and Annalynn Cooke invite you to join in their workshop You, Me, Us: An exploration of ideas in identity.
Using memory, food and making, the workshop will be a space to explore our connectedness - individual and shared - and discover our commonalities and diversities within the making session.
The artists have designed this workshop through inspiration from their respective practices and with a shared keen interest in facilitating community engagement through art.
Kristen Rhodes-Hasler is a conceptual artist whose practice centres around connecting viewers together through active participation. Kristen's artworks often explore ideas of memory, whilst highlighting known and unknown social connections between participants and themselves.
Annalynn Cooke is a painter whose work explores memory, experiences and identity using symbolism, storytelling and mixed media in her practice. Annalynn uses a variety of media alongside paint, such as collage and embroidery, to create intricate pieces that tell stories through abstract and familiar imagery.
