A life drawing class with artist Maddie focused on non-judgmental creation and queer expression, in response to our current exhibition, Tessa Boffin: Where We Touch the Archive.

Inspired by Tessa Boffin's work, this session will focus on capturing the joy and beauty of queer life.

Materials are provided free (we provide paper, charcoal, drawing boards, colour crayons, marker pens and erasers).
Please feel free to bring your own drawing tools as well (optional).
Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins.

About Maddie:
A mixed-media artist based in Eastbourne, Maddie aka Slimpystudio makes work about the mind, feminine rage and spirituality. Having graduated from Kingston University in 2023 with a degree in Illustration Animation, Maddie now works as an artist, exhibiting her work across Sussex. Outside of her studio practice, Maddie also works as a workshop facilitator and graphic recorder.
