Response to ‘Up and Down’, Miguel Martin’s upcoming exhibition at VOLT, Toad Lickers Collective invites you to unburden yourself of doom scrolling alone and come together to respond to each others’ internet activity. We welcome responses through writing or drawing, and will provide materials. One person at a time will surf the web aimlessly while the rest of the group watch on a projector and write or draw. Toad Lickers Collective will start, and once the floor opens up, will provide prompts such as the Wikipedia game, classic worm-holes, information scavenger hunts and website recommendations.
